About the job
Join a Business with Purpose and Be Recognised for the Impact You Make
Directioneering is Australia’s largest privately owned provider of strategic executive career coaching and advisory services. For over two decades, we've guided senior executives through critical career transitions, helping them redefine success and find new purpose in their professional lives.
We're now seeking a key team member to support our Brisbane Director — someone who thrives behind the scenes, takes pride in enabling success, and enjoys being the calm, steady hand that makes everything run smoothly.
The Opportunity
This is an office-based role (full-time or part-time role – minimum 3 days/week) in our premium Brisbane CBD offices. You’ll work closely with our Director (QLD) and become an essential part of a small, high-performing, and highly collaborative team.
You’ll also interact regularly with colleagues across our state and national teams — giving you exposure to all facets of the business, from client delivery to operational excellence.
If you’re someone who values being the right hand to a senior leader, enjoys bringing structure and support to a dynamic environment, and takes satisfaction in knowing your contribution is pivotal to the bigger picture — this role could be a perfect fit.
What You’ll Bring
You’re likely someone who sees yourself as the “quiet achiever” someone who enables others to shine while making a significant impact in your own right. We’re looking for a mature-minded, dependable team player who brings:
Proven experience supporting senior executives or sales teams
A calm, empathic communication style and composed, professional presence
The ability to manage small executive-style events and projects with ease
A natural inclination to support, organise, and anticipate needs
A love of systems, structure, and clear priorities — but can adapt when plans change
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, digital meeting platforms, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Impeccable attention to detail, presentation, and time management
A passion for creating a warm, welcoming, and polished environment for clients and colleagues alike
Experience in HR, organisational development, or talent-related environments is a bonus — but more important is your proactive attitude, reliability, and genuine desire to be part of a team where everyone plays a vital role.
Why This Role?
Because here, you’ll be more than just an assistant, you’ll be a key enabler, a trusted partner to the Director, and someone whose efforts are seen, appreciated, and valued.
If you’re looking for a long-term home where you can be involved in all areas of the business, work with inspiring people, and know that your support makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
