About the position
The purpose of the Assistant Service Delivery Manager is to provide operational support to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) by assisting with the day-to-day supervision of Senior Employment Mentors and Employment Mentors, as well as managing allocated Employment Mentors. Additionally, the role involves offering support, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance to both the Service Delivery Manager and the Senior Manager Employment Service to ensure the compliant and successful delivery of employment services.

- Minimum 3-5 years’ Employment / Community Services / Recruitment Industry experience, including some experience supervising and/or managing employees
- Demonstrated strong administration and organisational skills including the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated local labour market and industry knowledge and experience as well as a demonstrated knowledge of labour market trends
- Proven track record of achieving results and KPI’s
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders as well as negotiate and resolve conflict
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills (with a focus on attention to detail), in order to provide accurate advice in accordance with contractual requirements
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to upload and format online information and websites
- Demonstrated personal integrity and respect for confidential information
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability in monitoring business KPI’s and supporting site/s to achieve consistency in delivery
- Demonstrated ability in monitoring revenue and expenses to highlight and provide advice on opportunities and threats
- Demonstrated ability in efficient and effective management of staff allocation and deployment in a diverse employment context
- Knowledge of WH&S principles and practice, a good working knowledge of Quality Management principle and systems, and knowledge of EEO principle and practice
