Gasworks Medical Practice is seeking a vibrant, warm and fun-loving Medical Receptionist to join the GMP team. If you're a people person who wants to make a positive impact, we'd love to meet you!

Several of our superstar team members have increased university studies and have reduced their hours. We are offering a casual position with 12 to 32 hours per week, including occasional additional sick leave and holiday coverage.

What you'll bring to the role:

A strong, reliable work ethic

Desirable Attributes:

Previous medical receptionist experience

CPR/Triage training and/or experience

Experience with specific social groups serviced by practice, such as adolescents, aged care, LGBTQ+, migrant or refuge groups, Aboriginals & Torres Straight islanders

Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Experience with Best Practice preferred, or similar medical software

Ideally a well-developed understanding of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover & Private billing
