Sunmed Skin and Medical is a growing, community-focused clinic located in North Lakes, QLD. Led by a single male GP, our practice currently includes a part-time registered nurse and a casual receptionist, with plans to expand our team to include allied health professionals and visiting specialists.

We are now seeking a reliable, friendly Casual Receptionist to join our small and dedicated team. This is an opportunity to be part of a welcoming, down-to-earth environment with no egos just genuine, quality care for our patients.

About the Role

As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, professional, and compassionate experience for every patient who walks through our doors. You'll support the daily front desk operations, working closely with the GP and nurse, and soon with our growing allied health and specialist team.

Our clinic uses HotDoc for online bookings and patient engagement, and Best Practice as our clinical software.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide warm, professional front desk service

Schedule appointments and manage patient enquiries using HotDoc and Best Practice

Maintain accurate patient records and handle data entry with attention to detail

Assist with admin tasks such as scanning, emails, and phone calls

Help manage supplies and contribute to a clean and organised clinic environment

Support the team to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a medical reception or clinical admin role (preferred but not essential)

Confidence using practice software experience with Best Practice and HotDoc is a strong advantage

A calm, friendly, and respectful approach with excellent communication skills

Great organisational skills and attention to detail

The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a small team

Availability to work flexible hours and cover shifts when needed
