With a focus on excellence and innovation, we are now looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team as our current team member transitions out of the role.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing driver invoices, subcontractor invoices, and staff timesheets accurately and promptly.

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Preparing payment runs and ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

Liaising with drivers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to handle invoice queries and ensure smooth payment processing.

Assisting the finance team with month-end closing tasks and reporting requirements.

Maintaining accurate records in line with compliance and audit requirements.

About You
The ideal candidate will bring experience and confidence to the role and will thrive in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment. Specifically, you will have:

Proven accounts payable experience in the transport or logistics industry (preferred).

Knowledge of driver invoicing, subcontractor billing, and timesheet processing.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency essential).

A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
