About the Role

We are currently looking for an Accounts Officer to join our team, covering both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) responsibilities.

Key Duties will include:

Accounts Receivable

• Importing customer invoices into Xero and reconciling accurately
  
• Monitoring receivables and following up on overdue accounts
  
• Processing credit notes, refunds, and adjustments as required
  
• Preparing aging reports and providing regular updates to management
  

Accounts Payable

• Processing supplier invoices in line with company policy
  
• Scheduling and executing supplier/vendor payments
  
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  
• Preparing weekly updates on payment obligations and cash flow impact
  

Financial Administration & Reporting

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  
• Preparing reconciliations, summaries, and variance reports for management
  
• Maintaining accurate records in compliance with accounting standards
  

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Has several years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or a related finance role
  
• Is proficient in Xero
  
• Has high competency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, reconciliations, reporting)
  
• Can produce clear, professional written communications (e.g., invoices, reports, statements)
  
• Is confident handling phone-based enquiries with customers and suppliers to resolve payment or account issues
  

Highly Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience with inventory management or other accounting software systems
