Marketing & Communications Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to lead marketing, communications, and membership initiatives. This hands-on leadership role oversees a small team and works closely with the executive to drive patronage, membership, sponsorship, and event promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver strategic marketing and communications plans.

• Lead a small team and manage brand, media, and stakeholder relationships.

• Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, print, and media.

• Grow membership, sponsorship, and patronage through targeted initiatives.

• Promote events and venues to maximise exposure and attendance.

• Draft media releases, manage PR/media activity, and support executive communications.

• Analyse campaign performance and manage budgets effectively.

Requirements:

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

• 3+ years in a similar role (hospitality or events experience highly regarded).

• Budget management experience.

• Proven background in marketing, communications, or brand management.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication abilities.

• Experience in multi-channel campaign delivery and stakeholder engagement.

• Analytical, creative, and results-driven with strong attention to detail.
