Refined Living Joinery is a small to medium sized joinery located in Northgate, manufacturing commercial joinery, architectural timber and high-end timber furniture. We operate a modern factory with a team of highly skilled tradesman and craftsman. Refined Living Joinery are growing the commercial joinery side of the business and are on the search for the next member of our team.

We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join our team, specialising in the manufacture of commercial cabinetry and high-end timber furniture. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both leading a team and contributing to the build process.

About the Role:

Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Lead, mentor, and manage a skilled team of cabinetmakers and tradespeople.

Work on large-scale cabinetry and bespoke timber furniture projects.

Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and equipment.

Collaborate with the design and production team to solve problems and bring creative solutions to complex builds.

Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across all aspects of production.

Manage installation scheduling.

Skills & Experience:

Strong background in cabinetry or timber furniture making.

Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.

Experience with large-scale cabinetry projects.

Competence with workshop machinery is essential.

CNC experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Experience managing production schedules, using on-line business management software, word, excel.
