The role

Cataract on Paterson is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender / Bar Supervisor to join our team in Launceston, TAS. As a casual, part-time or full-time member of our dynamic hospitality team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service and creating delicious cocktails in our vibrant venue.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-stocked bar area.
• Providing excellent guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Assisting with bar supervision and staff management tasks as required.
• Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing laws and company policies.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Bartender or Bar Supervisor in a similar hospitality environment.
• A passion for mixology and a keen interest in the bar and beverage industry.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and responsible service of alcohol.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. We pay industry penalty awards
