The National Timber & Hardware Association (NTHA Training) is seeking passionate and experienced industry professional to join our team as a Trainer & Assessor in Timber Systems Design (Cert III & Cert IV).

What you’ll be doing

Delivering accredited and non-accredited training that meets national standards.

Tailoring training to meet individual learning needs and industry requirements.

Supporting students with engaging resources, clear guidance, and professional feedback.

Maintaining compliance with RTO requirements, including accurate records and assessments.

Building strong relationships with learners, employers, and industry partners.

Representing NTHA Training with professionalism and a commitment to quality.

What we’re looking for

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).

Experienced estimator or detailer with strong industry knowledge and holds a Certificate III Timber Systems Design qualification (preferred but not essential)

People with a passion for mentoring and supporting others.

Great communicators who are patient and approachable with learners.

Ideally, seeking flexible, part-time, or contract work.

Based in NSW, QLD, SA or VIC (remote delivery may also be possible).

Industry qualifications relevant to your area of delivery.

A strong understanding of the VET sector and RTO compliance.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

Current Working with Children Check, valid driver’s licence, and Australian work rights.
