The Role

We’re in an exciting period of growth and are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team three days a week (nominally Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Based at our Ravenhall office, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial systems and supporting the business with insightful financial reporting.

You’ll be working as part of a collaborative, customer-focused team that thrives on innovation and service. Your contribution will directly support decision-making and the continued success of a family business that’s built on strong values, creativity, and a genuine love for what we do.

Responsibilities:

Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and statements

Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable

Oversee daily bank and merchant reconciliations, chargebacks, and refunds

Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts

Liaise with local and international suppliers

Ensure compliance with ATO obligations and accounting standards

Support payroll processing and financial compliance

Lead ad hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements:

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for numbers and a team-first attitude. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a fast-paced SME environment and enjoy juggling a variety of tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance

Proven experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system

Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Budget management and reporting experience

Sound knowledge of ATO compliance, GST, and BAS requirements

Payroll processing experience

Preferred but Not Essential

CPA qualification

Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms

Background in digital print, design, or packaging industries
