Senior Bookkeeper – Part-Time (Remote)

We are a boutique bookkeeping practice based in Brisbane and Melbourne, operating fully remotely. We specialise exclusively in Xero and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalised service to our clients.

We're currently seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. We will also consider full-time for the right candidate. This is a flexible, remote role with the option to work from our Melbourne office if desired.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end bookkeeping using Xero

Payroll processing and compliance

Preparation and lodgement of IAS/BAS

Superannuation Guarantee (SGC) forms and TPAR reporting

Responding to client queries and providing exceptional support

Assisting with broader practice management tasks as needed

About You

Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accounting or bookkeeping firm

Strong understanding of payroll, GST, and Australian compliance requirements

Advanced knowledge of Australian payroll compliance is required

Excellent time management and organisational skills is critical

Highly trustworthy and reliable

Experience with XPM, Hubdoc, and Dext is a strong advantage

Familiarity with FYI document management software is a plus, but not essential

The role is fully remote but we require you to live in Australia

Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping qualification is required
