About the role
KRED Enterprises is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to provide maternity leave cover on a fixed-term contract. This is a crucial role within the finance team, responsible for supporting the broader business with all financial matters. The successful candidate will be based in Broome, WA.
What you'll be doing
Processing accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing and preparing EFT payments
Review timesheets and staff records and process payroll in a timely manner. Prepare wages reconciliations, IAS lodgments and superannuation.
Full cycle payroll processing experience is essential for this role.
Assisting with the bank reconciliations and grant reporting requirements.
Providing administrative support to the finance team as required.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general bookkeeping.
A minimum of 3-5 years of finance and bookkeeping experience is required.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, Reckon or similar).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and professional ethics.
Valid Australian work authorisation with permanent residency is required.
