Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Credit Officer to manage customer debtor recovery. This role involves direct communication with customers to resolve outstanding balances while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing the shared debtors Inbox and responding to account-related queries.

· Assisting with managing customer ledgers and account maintenance.

· Following up on outstanding payments and negotiating payment arrangements.

· Liaising with internal teams and customers to resolve AR matters.

· Performing account reconciliations and processing credit notes and adjustments.

· Supporting credit control reporting and ledger performance monitoring.

· Following up with clients to ensure timely payments while maintaining great relationships.

· Essential requirement to have confidence and experience in calling customers directly for debt recovery purposes.

· Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and reporting

· Supporting finance with reporting and end-of-month closing tasks

About You:

· Degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus

· Minimum of 3+ years experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Credit Control is required.

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proficient with ERP systems and Excel.

· Ability to work as part of a team in an office-based environment.
