Administration Support Officer - Parks & Recreation

Summary of the position:

Picton location

Permanent Full-Time position – 35 hours per week

Salary commencing from $67,494 + 12% Superannuation

Access to generous Flex-time provisions and Working from Home arrangements

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager Parks & Recreation, this position plays a vital role in supporting a wide range of functions to help deliver great outcomes for Council and the community. You’ll be responsible for managing databases, preparing reports, and handling customer enquiries, while bringing strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to a busy and dynamic environment. To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration and/or Customer Service, or extensive relevant experience

Demonstrated work experience in administration including report writing, minute taking, correspondence and use of computer applications.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Ability to plan and prioritise, think and solve problems on a day-to-day basis with excellent time management skills.

High standard verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond accordingly via face-to-face, telephone and email to internal and external customers
