The Opportunity

Due to company growth, we now have a new opportunity for an additional Team Leader Delivery Drivers to join our team. We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual with a positive can-do attitude.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Safely delivering and setting up our hire equipment, including variable message sign trailers, light towers, variable speed limit signs, and barriers.

Leading by example in professionalism, reliability, and safe work practices.

Training, mentoring, and supporting new starters to ensure they understand safety, customer service, and operating procedures.

Monitoring team performance and providing constructive feedback to improve efficiency and service.

Assisting the Operations Manager with day-to-day coordination, job allocation, and driver support.

Acting as the first point of contact for driver queries and escalating issues where necessary.

Promoting a positive and supportive team culture that encourages open communication and problem-solving.

Ensuring team compliance with RPM Hire’s safety policies, SOPs, and vehicle/equipment maintenance requirements.

Contributing ideas to improve training, processes, and safety outcomes.

Liaising with clients and ensuring all their needs are met to a high standard.

What You Will Bring:

History of safe working practices

Proven experience as team leader, 2IC or supervisory role

Strong commitment to being a safety advocate, ensuring safe practices are consistently followed

Valid car licence

At least 2-3 year general driving experience is preferable

Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can-do' attitude
