Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience (2+ years preferred) will be highly regarded.
About the role:
As Housekeeping Team Leader, you'll take charge of linen orders, stock control, and daily task coordination, ensuring our housekeeping team runs like clockwork. Your mission? Deliver spotless, beautifully presented accommodation and facilities that exceed guest expectations!
Benefit from a reliable full-time (40 hours per week) roster including weekends with one loaded rate across all 5 days—simple, fair, and rewarding.
Daily duties of Housekeeping Team Leader include:
Overseeing and coordinating daily housekeeping operations.
Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring all rooms are guest-ready.
Supporting the Operations Manager with rostering.
Managing linen orders, stock control, and cleaning supplies.
Hands-on cleaning of accommodation, community areas, and amenities, such as:
Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
Making beds and changing linens
Washing windows, blinds and steam cleaning draperies
Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
Emptying rubbish receptacles and disposing of waste
Cleaning and maintaining community areas, such as amenities block, camp kitchen, games room and BBQ areas
Conducting pre-arrival checks to maintain impeccable presentation standards.
Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring cleaning equipment is well maintained.
Other Requirements
All final applicants must provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check before starting work.
Hours may vary seasonally. Flexibility to start earlier or work later during peak times is required.
