About the role

An exciting opportunity as the in-house Property Manager with a high profile portfolio owner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a portfolio of residential and retail properties in the Sydney region. In this Monday - Friday position, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the properties under your care, from tenant relations to maintenance and compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus and a keen eye for detail.

What you'll be doing

Manage a portfolio of residential properties, including liaising with tenants, conducting property inspections, and coordinating maintenance and repairs

Manage a portfolio of retail properties, including liaising with tenants, conducting property inspections, and coordinating maintenance and repairs

Ensure all properties meet relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including compliance with safety standards

Effectively communicate with landlords and tenants to address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to property management activities

Coordinate the advertising and leasing of vacant properties, including conducting viewings and negotiations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with tradespeople and service providers to ensure efficient property maintenance

Assist with the preparation of financial reports and the processing of rental payments and outgoings

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in residential property management, with a strong understanding of the relevant legislation and regulations

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficient in the use of property management software and databases

A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, real estate, or a related field would be highly regarded
