Production Manager – Joinery & Fitout | Brisbane

We’re representing a valued and long-standing client in the commercial fitout sector — a trusted name with repeat business, strong pipelines, and a culture that’s as fun as it is hardworking.
Right now, they’re on the lookout for a Production Manager to take the reins of their office and factory operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, the factory hums along safely and efficiently, and every piece of joinery delivered is finished to the highest standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, motivating, and supporting a Factory Foreman, Draftsperson, and apprentices
• Driving production schedules and prioritising workloads
• Reading and interpreting plans & scopes, spotting issues early, and liaising with Project Managers
• Overseeing drafting schedules, joinery methodology, and procurement of materials
• Keeping stock levels sharp and pricing up-to-date
• Maintaining quality control so only the best leaves the factory
• Coordinating freight, deliveries, and machinery maintenance
• Creating a safe, efficient, and positive factory environment where everyone can thrive

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified: Cert III in Carpentry, Shopfitting, or Cabinetmaking
• 3+ years as a Leading Hand
• 2+ years as a Factory Foreman or Manager
• Proven skills in staff leadership, procurement, and production scheduling
• A proactive communicator who can juggle priorities, solve problems, and keep the energy high
