The Role & Builder

Starting with a progressive business who will train, mentor and develop you as an individual in commercial construction, you will be offered the position of Leading Hand or Site Supervisor depending on your experience level. The role entails site setup & setout, materials handling and supporting your Project Manager with quality, OHS and programme management. You will be looking for a long-term position with a business who are going to reward and train an enthusiastic and positive person.

The position would suit a trade qualified Leading Hand looking to develop a strong career in the commercial sector - you may have worked in the high-end residential sector or Residential Remedial company and be looking for a career that can lead to greater financial and professional rewards.

Having built their reputation on the back of D&C Refurb, Residential and Commercial projects, they now deliver jobs to $15M and work across both the corporate private sector as well as government projects. Qualifications & Experience

You will be Carpentry trade qualified ideally although a background as an Electrician or Plumber is also considered

You will be looking to foster a long-term career in the commercial construction sector working for a business who has your interests at heart

A background in either the residential or commercial sector is fine and if you have worked in resi, some exposure to high end finishes and refurbishment will be advantageous

Your positive attitude, presentation & communication skills will set you apart from the majority

You will want to work for a recognised business where you have the opportunity to progress your career over the long term
