Our client is a small and friendly Accounting services firm based in Sydney’s southern suburb of Rockdale. They have grown year on year whilst maintaining an established client base. The Role

As the Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will work in a small team and report to a Director. Your duties will include:

Prepare and review financial statements for individuals, Small Businesses, Enterprises, and SMSFs.

Prepare and review Business Activity Statements.

Tax preparation and compliance for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and companies.

Liaise with the ATO.

Manage and oversee client portfolios.

Provide excellent service to clients.

Your Background

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:

They will consider a candidate who is either an Accountant or a Bookkeeper who has previously worked in a local accounting firm.

Experience with MYOB and Handitax will be advantageous.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Full working rights in Australia.

Desire to continue their career within a Public Accounting Firm.
