Our client is a well-established Sydney-based accounting and advisory firm providing tax, bookkeeping, and business consultancy services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.

They pride themselves on their professional integrity, attention to detail, and strong client relationships. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Bookkeeper / Accountant Analyst to join their dynamic and supportive team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging accounting professional to develop their career in a collaborative environment. You will support the accounting team across bookkeeping, payroll, BAS/IAS preparation, and compliance reporting, while gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and industries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform end-to-end bookkeeping for business clients
• Process payroll, superannuation, and STP reporting (desirable)
• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS accurately and on time
• Assist in preparing individual and business tax returns under senior supervision
• Prepare financial statements and workpapers for companies, trusts, and sole traders
• Liaise with clients to collect documentation and maintain accurate financial records
• Support senior accountants in compliance and advisory services

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting clients and growing your career in accounting.

You will bring:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting support

Working knowledge of BAS/IAS, reconciliations, and payroll

Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Fluent English (Portuguese or Spanish highly regarded)

A positive attitude and desire to learn from experienced professionals
