This well-established CA firm is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their busy practice located in Parramatta, close to the train station. They provide a wide range of services including business advice, tax, accounting, bookkeeping, audit and financial planning to a diverse client base of High Net Wealth individuals, SME and SMSF clients.

In this position as an Intermediate Accountant, you will report to the Manager and directly to the Partner. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFs

Manage BAS and IAS lodgments, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Work across key tax areas including GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A

Assist in tax planning and business advisory for a large client base

Liaise directly with clients and government bodies, building strong working relationships

Contribute to advisory work such as valuations, due diligence, and business transactions

Ideal Requirements:

2-4+ years' business services/tax experience in a local accounting firm

CA/CPA studying or upon commencement

Ability and experience liaising with clients

A self-starter with drive and attention to detail

Xero experience is an advantage, although not essential
