PLEASE NOTE: Part-Time, Casual or Contractor may be acceptable. We predict this job should be 1-2 days per week onsite. Thursday is non-negotiable with Wednesday as the preferred second day.

Gorski Engineering is seeking a skilled Part Time Payroll Officer with HR and bookkeeping experience to join our growing team. This is a part-time role based in our Somerton, VIC office. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing weekly payroll, managing employee records, and providing administrative support to the wider HR and finance functions.

What you'll be doing

Process weekly payroll and manage payroll records

Administer employee leave, including annual leave, sick leave, and other entitlements

Provide HR support, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee files

Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll and employment legislation

Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

What we're looking for

Proficient in using payroll and HR software, such as MYOB or Xero

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of relevant payroll and employment legislation

Bookkeeping experience is highly desirable
