About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this pivotal role ensures the smooth flow of purchasing, inventory, logistics, and supplier management.
You will oversee both local and international supply chains while keeping inventory accurate and operations running seamlessly.
Key responsibilities include:
Raising purchase orders and reconciling supplier invoices with deliveries
Overseeing international logistics, liaising with freight forwarders; must have knowledge of tariff codes, duties and compliance requirements
Managing quality control
Forecasting lead times and accounting for possible overseas delays
Auditing inbound goods, duty charges, fees, and freight costings
Monitoring inventory accuracy and compliance with quality standards
Supplier management: negotiating pricing, lead times, and minimising risk
Handling stock issues and ensuring timely resolutions
Updating product data and managing inventory software systems
Supporting the development of improved inventory and purchasing processes
About You
We are looking for someone with 3–5 years of purchasing and inventory experience, ideally in a fast-paced, product-based environment.
What You Will Bring
High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive, hands-on approach
Experience with international freight, logistics, and supply chain processes
Strong computer skills (including Excel) with the ability to quickly learn new systems
Prior experience in Manufacturing with exposure to Bill of Materials (BOM)
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (Odoo experience highly regarded, though not essential)
Database management, analytics, and forecasting skills required
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong logic, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
A flexible, adaptable attitude and a strong commitment to quality and service
Confidence to work autonomously with full accountability for inventory and purchasing
Strong written and verbal communication skills with confident negotiation ability
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a supportive environment
Benefits:
Salary: $80K - $90K + Super
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
