Our client, a market leader in the packaging equipment industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse/Purchasing Assistant to join their team. About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our growing warehouse operations. This role combines General warehouse duties and purchasing support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday.

Key Responsibilities

Perform warehouse duties including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.

Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

Support the purchasing function by sourcing supplies, placing orders, and liaising with suppliers.

Ensure goods received match purchase orders and follow up on discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of stock movement and purchasing activities.

Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean, organised warehouse environment.

Skills & Experience

Current and valid Forklift Licence (LF essential).

Previous warehouse experience, ideally with purchasing exposure.

Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers.

Good computer literacy (experience with inventory or purchasing systems an advantage).

Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
