Steeline Mildura currently has a full time position available for a Purchasing Officer within a successful and rapidly growing, locally owned company.

As we progress towards being at the forefront of the roll forming industry, we are looking to add a self-motivated individual with a passion for challenging themselves.

The applicant needs to be able to work independently as well as part of our dedicated team.

The position would be well suited to applicants with excellent data entry ability, attention to detail, accuracy and with well-developed communication skills.

Experience within a purchasing, administration or sales role would be preferable but not essential. The successful applicant will have access to extensive training and support as they grow and succeed within their role.

The position entails maintaining stock levels, liaising with suppliers to the company, sourcing pricing for quoting purposes and follow up of delivery time frames. The applicants must be computer literate with sound knowledge in most standard windows based programs and be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, have legible handwriting and sound mathematical abilities.

In addition, excellent presentation and the ability to be flexible in attending to various office duties including sales is essential.
