SimPRO at the centre of how we work, however other software is used across the businesses (QuickBooks, MYOB & Xero)

What you’ll do

Map and set the standard process (Requisition → RFQ → PO → Receipt → Invoice)

Work with management to provide stores/procurement support

Setup up simPRO and other software so purchasing works end to end

Run day-to-day buying: RFQs, quote comparisons, POs, expediting, returns and credits

Build a national preferred-supplier panel; negotiate price locks, rebates and simple agreements

Plan buys to the build schedule; manage partials/backorders and freight to multi-state sites

Keep data tidy: item masters, alternates, lead times; 3-way match with Accounts

Oversee the stocktake process

Report the numbers that matter: PPV, OTIF, lead times, inventory turns, open POs, spend by supplier

What you’ll bring

3–5 years in procurement (manufacturing/automotive/fit-out/field service)

Purchasing/inventory experience with different software platforms (or fast ERP setup skills)

Solid RFQ/comparison skills, negotiation and contract basics

Comfortable with BOMs/drawings and strong Excel

Clear communicator, calm under time pressure, tidy documentation

Nice to have: Cert IV in Procurement, CIPS L4 (or progress), forklift licence, QuickBooks/Xero/MYOB exposure.
