We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Operations & Supply Chain team in Scoresby. This role is key to ensuring the business secures the right goods and services, at the right cost, quality, and time.

A long-established Australian successful business, this organization has been providing innovative products for over 90 years. With a strong local and global presence, their products are relied upon daily across residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial settings.
While traditionally servicing the water markets, the company has expanded into commercial pumping, irrigation, and commercial pool sectors, continuing to grow its product portfolio and market presence.
About the role:
- Managing purchase orders, deliveries, backorders, and records in the ERP system (Pronto preferred)
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure value and reliability
- Negotiating contracts and terms to secure competitive outcomes
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver sourcing solutions that balance cost, quality, and timing
- Monitoring stock and planning replenishment using MRP/ERP systems
- Supporting broader operational and project initiatives beyond purchasing
- Ensuring compliance with policies, contracts, and regulatory standards
- Driving continuous improvement in procurement practices and supplier performance
Skills & Experience:
- Proven procurement experience (manufacturing, industrial, or related sector experience preferred)
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (Pronto experience is a bonus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, collaborative team player who is adaptable and solutions-focused

Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred
- Trade qualifications or industry-specific training (desirable but not essential)
