Bathers beach house is an iconic waterfront venue, we are looking for a highly motivated Bar Manager to join our beachside family. We are locally owned and operated with multiple venues in Fremantle.

As the Bar manager you should show a love for the beverage industry, have a willingness to learn and keep up to date with all things beer, wine and everything in between. Possess a strong understanding of current trends and exciting new products. Be a problem solver who sees challenges as an opportunity to show your flair and creativity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and carry out daily operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and values ethos

Creation of new cocktails & beverage lists within our percentage guidelines

Hiring and rostering for all bar locations within the venue.

Training & mentoring of staff

Maintain stock levels and ordering of supplies

Complete end of month stock take

Receiving of stock, ensuring cost and items are correct

Management reports

Negotiation of supplier contracts and supply deals

Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing and work, health & safety procedures.

Connect with customers, building relationships within our community.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Approved Managers Card

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

Excellent problem solving and customer service skills

Ability to work independently as well as lead, manage and motivate your team

Strong understanding of business management

A quick thinker who is able to make decisions when required

Confident in resolving conflicts and able to diffuse tense situations

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources

Must be able to work during peak periods, including nights, weekends and holidays
