About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Venue Manager to lead operations at our busy rooftop bar at QT Perth. This role is all about managing both the bar and floor teams, driving sales and service standards, and creating an unforgettable experience for up to 200 guests on busy nights. You’ll be leading a team of up to 15 staff, keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day venue operations across both the bar and the floor.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of up to 15 staff, fostering a strong service culture.
• Drive sales and profit targets by monitoring budgets, costs, and labour efficiency.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
• Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to grow the venue.
• Be hands-on in service – including cocktail-making (mixology background highly regarded).

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in bar/venue management in a high-volume environment.
• Strong mixology skills and confidence in making cocktails.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and rostering teams of 10–15.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, and profitability effectively.
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality environments (experience in hotels is a plus).
• Strong compliance knowledge: RSA, liquor licensing, OH&S, food safety.
• Positive attitude, resilient under pressure, and able to hit the ground running.
