The Alexander Bar & Bistro is looking for a driven and hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to join our team and work closely with our Owner-Operator in leading this much-loved local venue.

About the Role
As Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the bar, bistro, and bottleshop. Working side-by-side with the Owner-Operator, you’ll support in:

Leading, motivating, and training staff

Delivering outstanding customer service and a welcoming atmosphere

Overseeing bar, floor, and bottleshop operations

Assisting with rostering, stock control, and compliance

Driving promotions, events, and new initiatives

About You
We’re seeking someone who is:

Experienced in bar or hospitality management

Strong in leadership, communication, and problem solving

Organised with great attention to detail

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Passionate about hospitality and building a great team culture
