Our landmark pub has been serving customers for 105 years. We received National Design awards for the beautiful restoration of this classic Australian Pub. We service our patrons with a large range of draught beers, wines, cocktails and an extensive food menu.

We also have dedicated function facilities which are located on our second floor.

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and personable Bar Manager with a commitment to providing the very best in hospitality and service. You will be a true believer in the value of customer service and recognise the critical importance of staff training. You must have previous experience in day to day pub operations, and demonstrate the management of staff and rosters. Computer skills are essential. This exciting career opportunity would suit an energetic, self- motivated individual with a proven hands on track record working in the hospitality industry.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Bar or Duty Manager in a busy venue

Extensive bar, restaurant and cellar skills

Strong leadership and people management skills

Hold a current RSA and Approved Managers Card

Work well under pressure

Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends

Role Includes

Lead by example with a "hands on" management style

Management and training of staff, new and existing

Stock takes

Cash handling and reconciliation

Venue presentation

Directing security when necessary

Report directly to the Venue Manager
