About the Role
As our Office Administration Manager, you’ll lead a small team of two—one Home Office Administrator and one Site Office Administrator—ensuring seamless office operations across general administration, finance & HR for our small business . You’ll work from primarily our Banjup home office, steering process improvements, maintaining accurate financial records, and championing a positive team culture. The administrative team is especially welcoming to women who are looking for a safe and collaborative workplace.
Position Details
Position type: Full Time
Workdays: Monday – Friday
Work schedule: 8AM – 4PM
Hourly rate: $35-42 p/h
Pay cycle: Weekly
Location: Rural Property, Banjup
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support daily administration tasks for home and site offices, including correspondence, phone and email triage, with high attention to detail
Lead, mentor, and develop our small administration team, setting priorities and providing ongoing feedback
Manage end-to-end finance functions: invoicing, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries using MYOB & Xero
Process payroll and maintain confidential HR records
Prepare documentation for audits and financial reviews, ensuring compliance and timely archiving
Liaise with external partners—accountants, auditors, vendors, and clients—to resolve issues and support business growth
Identify and implement continuous improvements in administrative, financial, and HR workflows—innovation and efficiency is key to the success of our small business
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience managing office administration and guiding a small team
Hands-on proficiency with MYOB and Xero accounting software
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Practical HR knowledge, including payroll processing and onboarding
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion when handling confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to pass a full medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
Desirable Skills
Previous bookkeeping or formal accounting experience
Track record of driving process improvements in finance and admin
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn) for internal communications
Experience in waste and recycling facility operations
Background in small-team, collaborative environments
