Compensation: OTE $120k–$140k (Base $80k + Commission)

Role summary
As an Account Executive, you’ll convert strong inbound interest into high‑value client partnerships across ANZ (and occasionally abroad). You’ll lead qualification, discovery, solution positioning, pricing, proposals, and negotiation — collaborating closely with our Solutions Delivery Lead for technical pre‑sales (solution walkthroughs, scoping, SOWs) and co‑selling with HubSpot channel reps. You’ll be supported by a full‑time Sales Admin Assistant so you can focus on creating solutions.
What you’ll do
Lead inbound qualification, discovery, and diagnosis; align business goals, problem statements, buying committees, and success criteria.
Design and present HubSpot solution walkthroughs with the Solutions Delivery Lead; whiteboard lifecycle, routing, attribution; support light demos and POC scoping.
Prepare proposals and support SOW drafting; contribute to RFP/RFI responses where required.
Own pricing, proposals, negotiation, and close across retainers and projects - ensuring deals are commercially sound.
Co‑sell with HubSpot PDMs/AEs on strategy and license right‑sizing; maintain joint plans and timely partner engagement.
Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting in HubSpot; run crisp deal/pipeline reviews.
Execute targeted outbound when needed to supplement inbound and partner‑sourced pipeline.
Own the sales‑to‑delivery handover (signed SOW, acceptance criteria, checklist, kickoff scheduling) to set delivery up for success.
What you’ll bring
2–5+ years in B2B consultative sales or technical pre‑sales (agency/consulting, MarTech, or RevOps services preferred).
Working knowledge of HubSpot (Sales Hub required; Marketing/Service a plus): pipelines, deals, quotes, permissions, reporting.
Strong discovery and value‑based storytelling; able to translate technical detail into business outcomes.
Experience collaborating with solutions/technical leads to shape scope, SOWs, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
Excellent communication, proposal writing, and negotiation skills; disciplined forecasting and CRM hygiene.
Nice to have
Agency/consultancy experience across diverse industries and multi‑workstream proposals.
Co‑selling with HubSpot channel reps; HubSpot certifications (Sales, Marketing, Service, RevOps, Reporting, Admin).
Familiarity with Ai, Data, social, content, web/dev, e‑commerce; comfort with lifecycle, attribution, and routing concepts.
