We're partnering with a well-established insurance brokerage in Brisbane CBD to recruit a Broker Assistant to support their broking team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced brokers, gain hands-on exposure to a broad portfolio, and develop your career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role:

• Provide administrative and client service support to Account Executives and Senior Brokers.
• Assist with preparing quotes, renewals, endorsements, and policy documentation.
• Liaise with insurers, clients, and underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain up-to-date client files and compliance records.
• Respond to client enquiries and provide a high standard of service.
• Support brokers with new business opportunities and marketing activities.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of commercial insurance products and learn the end-to-end broking process.

About You:

• Tier 2 qualification in insurance broking (or willingness to obtain).
• 1–2 years’ experience in an insurance role (broking or underwriting background highly regarded), and domestic/personal lines or claims experience considered.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage competing priorities.
• Interest in progressing towards Tier 1 or a broking role in the future.
