The role:
We are searching for passionate and experienced Counter Manager (Skincare) to join the LUXASIA Australia team to support us in our growing portfolio of brands! As a Counter Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of Beauty Consultants to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets. You will be responsible for driving business performance, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating strong customer relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of skincare, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for retail excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Sales Performance
Lead, coach, and motivate the team to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Customer Experience
Provide expert skincare and makeup consultations to customers, ensuring a personalized and memorable shopping experience.
Build lasting relationships with customers through follow-ups and product recommendations.
Business Development
Attract new customers through walk-in engagement and proactive outreach.
Maintain and grow a loyal customer base by delivering outstanding service and product knowledge.
Operational Excellence
Oversee counter merchandising and ensure stock levels are well-maintained and organized.
Manage inventory processes including ordering, returns, and stock reconciliation.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative reports.
Team Development
Train and upskill Beauty Consultants in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
Communicate company updates and operational requirements effectively to the team.
Customer Issue Resolution
Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and brand integrity.
Additional Operational Duties
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely stock replenishment.
Support in planning and executing in-store events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to management for strategic improvements.
Ensure all POS systems and tools are functioning properly and report any technical issues.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports for management review.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Beauty Consultant with reputable skincare brands.
Strong expertise in skincare products and solutions.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading retail teams.
Excellent communication skills, a fast learner, and a collaborative team player.
