Shape trust, probity and performance for a growing City
The City of Armadale is one of WA’s fastest-growing communities, where more than 100,000 people live, work and belong. As our new Contract Management Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the City’s integrity and delivering value-for-money outcomes across major services and projects.
This isn’t just about compliance it’s about influence. You’ll partner with leaders, contract owners and suppliers to ensure the City’s contracts are watertight, fair, and delivering results for the community.
What you’ll do
- Take accountability for medium to high-risk contracts from award to close-out ensuring probity, governance and performance.
- Monitor supplier delivery, manage variations and disputes, and protect the City’s legal, financial and reputational interests.
- Be the trusted advisor to leaders and teams on contract obligations, supplier performance and risk.
- Build organisational capability by coaching staff and improving frameworks, templates and processes.
Why this role?
- Impact: What you do directly shapes trust in how the City is run.
- Challenge: Stretch into high-profile, complex contracts and negotiations.
- Growth: This is a 12-month full-time contract with a strong view to permanency — the chance to showcase your impact and secure your future in local government.
- Culture: Work where values aren’t posters on a wall — Care, Better Together, Learn & Grow, Seize Today.
Benefits of working with us

- Professional development opportunities, with access to training, coaching and career pathways.

- A vibrant, growing community where your work has a visible impact every day.
