URGENT NEW ROSTER OF CARE – CRAVEN

Are you a compassionate, reliable, and flexible individual who thrives working independently but within a supportive team environment? We’re looking for Support Worker employees and/or contractors who are ready to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. We are seeking immediate flexible availability. We are aiming to commence the roster by 22nd September 2025 Preferred.

CRAVEN is [30mins from Stroud, 40mins from Dungog, 20mins from Gloucester]

Roster of Care is 7 day a week roster for a 74yo Lady living in her own home. There is some flexibility with finalised split shift times between 08:00 and 20:30 dependent on applicants. We are seeking a care team of 4 NEW staff. The following times may be adjusted once we have settled in. Day Shift: 08:00 – 16:00 [8hrs] and Evening Shift: 16:30 - 20:30 [4hrs]

Key Responsibilities & Required Experience

This role involves supporting a client with quadriplegia. Applicants must have demonstrated experience and/or willingness to demonstrate ability to learn:

Confident and competent use of hoist, manual handling, P Care in a bed, catheter care, vitals, pressure area and skin integrity checks

Administering medication and adhering to individual support plans

Completing professional, factual shift notes, and data collection

Performing general household tasks and meal preparation

Demonstrating initiative, common sense, and a proactive approach to learning

Essential Requirements

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Valid Driver’s License

Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent [no formal qualifications will also be considered]

Enrolled Nurses and/or Tertiary students encouraged to apply

Minimum 1 years’ experience (especially with hoist/manual handling/catheter care) preferred

First Aid Certificate & CPR – current within 12 months

Medication Management Training – current within 12 months

Manual Handling Training – current within 24 months

Infection Prevention & Control – current within 12 months

Catheter Care Training – current within 12 months

Completion of all 4 NDIS Commission eLearning Modules

ROSTER OF CARE: TELARAH - CASUAL POOL STAFF

Shift Requirements on a 24/7 roster in Telarah for a 69yo Gentleman living in his own home.

Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:00

Non-Active Sleepover Shift: 14:00 – 06:00 (next day)

What We’re Looking For

Must be available Fridays (day and sleepover shift) and Weekend availability (sleepover shift)

MUST be available between 15th December 2025 - 11th january 2026 with flexible open availability.

MUST be available over the xmas period to be on paid on-call

We also seek any day of the week (day and sleepover shifts) for short notice replacements on our casual pool

Key Responsibilities & Required Experience

This role involves supporting a client with complex physical support needs. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in:

kSupporting a full-time power wheelchair user, including safe operation and mobility assistance

Performing 1-person assist for all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, and continence support

Confident and competent use of hoist, especially Pivot Hoist, following detailed manual handling plan

Feeding and meal preparation, including cooking for modified dysphagia diets

Administering medication and adhering to individual support plans

Completing professional, factual shift notes, and reports

Performing household tasks: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and preparing fresh, wholesome meals

Implementing behaviour support strategies to promote emotional and mental well-being

Supporting community inclusion and social engagement

Understanding or willingness to learn person-centered active support

Demonstrating initiative, common sense, and a proactive approach to learning

Knowledge or willing to upskill with degenerative conditions

Essential Requirements
