We’re looking for an Operations Coordinator who thrives on organisation, follow-through, and the quiet satisfaction of getting things done properly. This isn’t about sitting behind a desk and delegating, it’s about being hands-on, in the thick of things, making sure projects run smoothly, systems actually get used, and people feel supported to do their best work.

You’ll be the one who notices the details, joins the dots, and keeps all the moving parts humming — the person everyone secretly thanks when the wheels don’t fall off. Think of yourself as the WD-40 of Van Diemens Land Creamery: you make everything work better, smoother, and with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

Administration backbone Keep the day-to-day humming. Scheduling, supplier follow-ups, documentation, compliance, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Systems & procedures Build, refine, and simplify processes so the team can do their best work (and sleep easier at night).

Project coordination Keep projects on track and moving forward. You’ll herd the cats, keep the deadlines, and celebrate the wins.

Supplier & stakeholder liaison Be a trusted point of contact for our suppliers and partners, making communication clear, kind, and timely.

Growth enablement Put structures in place that give the business and the team the freedom to do what they do best — creating award-winning ice cream that makes people smile.
