Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant

Highly reputable accounting firm located in Brisbane seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment, values client service, and enjoys supporting both colleagues and clients.
About the Role
As a key member of the administration team, you’ll provide high-quality support to the accounting team. From managing client communications to compliance tasks and maintaining accurate records, you’ll play an important role in ensuring smooth operations.
Over time, you’ll take on additional responsibilities and contribute more broadly to the success of the firm.
Your day-to-day will include:
Liaising and communicating professionally with clients via email and phone.
Word processing of reports, letters of advice, meeting minutes, and drafting routine correspondence.
Compiling activity statements and preparing accompanying client letters.
Electronic filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with the maintenance of the firm’s database.
Preparing and processing client lodgements with the ATO.
Processing ATO correspondence and liaising directly with the ATO on behalf of clients.
Supporting fellow administration staff as needed.
Assisting your team with ad-hoc administrative requests.

Ideally you will have
2+ years prior administration experience within an accounting firm.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, responsible and reliable with integrity.
A team-focused attitude and confident, friendly personality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while handling shifting priorities.
Proven ability to engage and interact positively with clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Knowledge of Xero Practice Manager and FYI Docs highly regarded
