With the ongoing expansion of the Kickon Group portfolio of venues, an exciting position has become available within the sales team. Working out of our office in North Fitzroy, Melbourne, we are looking for a Reservations Agent who will be inspired to create memorable guest experiences every day within an expanding hospitality group.

You will be joining a close-knit team that absolutely love what they do. Living and breathing hospitality, we work hard and play hard, supporting each other to achieve our goals.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Reservations Manager, the Reservations Agent will play a key role in customer relations and booking management across the entire portfolio of venues.

This role offers the opportunity to work with some of some of Australia’s most recognisable hospitality & lifestyle brands, with future promotion within the functions & events team available.

Approximately 10-20 hours a week available, with additional hours possible for the right candidate.

With rotating shifts available during the hours of 9:00am - 7:00pm, this role may suit a student and/or hospitality professional looking for additional day time hours.

Role’s responsibilities

Managing external and internal phone, social media, and email enquiries

Responding to and securing reservations for restaurant, bar and group bookings

Daily administrative responsibilities

Supporting the Reservations Manager and Office manager with additional duties as required

Requirements

1+ years’ experience in a similar role within hospitality

Weekend availability essential

A keen interest in the hospitality industry

Able to work autonomously, as well as in a team

Excellent phone manner and computer skills

Previous experience with a reservations data system

A positive outlook with the ability to provide high levels of customer service to our clients and guests

A love of potato cakes and/or Stone & Wood Pacific Ale (can make exceptions for the right candidate)
