We are looking for a Referrer Liaison Officer.
About the Role
The RLO focuses on the growth and development of Canberra Imaging referring practitioner market through overseeing relationships with referrers and their clinics, while working closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure workflows and communications run effectively.
The RLO will help grow the business by identifying new opportunities, raising brand and service awareness, and promoting our people. The RLO will bring positivity, enthusiasm, a can-do-attitude, innovation and energy to their role, relationships and the business in general.
The duties of the Referrer Liaison Officer include:
Building and maintaining positive and respectful relationships with referring doctors, medical clinics, and healthcare professionals.
Acting as the primary contact for referrer inquiries, feedback, ensuring timely issue resolution.
Conducting site visits and meetings with referrers to promote services and gather insights.
Providing education and training to referrers regarding new imaging modalities and processes.
Monitoring and reporting on referrer feedback, referral patterns, and business opportunities.
Supporting marketing and business development initiatives.
Maintaining accurate records of interactions and engagement activities.
The Referrer Liaison Officer must have the following skills and abilities:
Knowledge of or experience in a client-facing role, preferably in healthcare or radiology.
Professional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
A proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and resolving issues.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in CRM systems.
Current driver’s licence and ability to travel.
Our Referrer Liaison Officer is based in the ACT and will travel regularly to support referring doctors and clinics across the region.
Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing support will be provided to ensure RLOs are confident in their role, equipped with the tools and knowledge to represent Canberra Imaging professionally and effectively across all referrer touchpoints.
Please note that while these positions are full-time, CIG will consider part-time work arrangements (e.g. working Monday to Thursday).
