About the Role
We are seeking an organised and motivated Scheduling Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for rostering and scheduling our workforce using Care Master scheduling and payroll software. You will ensure that shifts are filled efficiently, timesheets are accurate, and resources are allocated in a fair and cost-effective way.
The role also provides direct support to staff, maintains communication with families and stakeholders, and contributes to the smooth running of our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage staff schedules, rosters, and backfilling of shifts.
Maintain highly accurate documentation and records within Care Master.
Support staff with scheduling-related issues and provide supervision where required.
Communicate effectively with staff, participants, families, and external agencies.
Ensure compliance with the NDIS and relevant industry standards.
Maintain compliance with the SCHADS award while performing rostering duties.
Use Care Master, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams for rostering, communication, and reporting.
Work collaboratively with managers, directors, and staff to meet workforce requirements.
Contribute to the development of workflows, processes, and organisational growth.
Undertake general office duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in rostering, payroll, or HR administration.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
High level of IT skills and confidence using Care Master, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and its application in workforce management.
Ability to identify workforce requirements, including recognising under- or over-staffed locations.
A collaborative approach to working within a team.
Experience in the disability or community services sector (highly desirable).
Mandatory Requirements
Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (ACT).
Current Driver’s Licence.
Current First Aid Certificate (Level 1).
