What we are looking for

We’re seeking a motivated Leading Hand with strong leadership skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to drive team performance on site. You will be confident managing daily crew operations and committed to delivering work to specification. An understanding of how to read and interpret plans will be highly beneficial, along with strong attention to detail. While no special requirements are necessary, reliability, initiative and the ability to follow company and site HSE standards are essential.

About the role

As a Civil Leading Hand, you will oversee the daily operations of your own crew and vehicle, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for installing Energex assets including conduits, transformers and RMUs, along with the installation of NBN and Gas services. Depending on project needs, you may also install Rate 2 or 3 conduits, pits and footings. This is a hands-on leadership role where attention to safety, quality and teamwork is key.

• Locations: Multiple positions across South & North Brisbane – work close to home
• Pay: $39 – $43 p/h + Super + Vehicle + Penalties (dependant on experience)
• Projects: Mix of Energex & Non-Energex civil works
