About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bar Manager/ Food & Beverage Assistant to join the team at Benchmark' in Hawks Nest, NSW. As a key member of the hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the bar operations and assisting with the food and beverage service to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including stock control, roster management and staff supervision

Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service in the bar area

Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages to customers

Provide exceptional customer service and manage customer inquiries and concerns

Support the wider hospitality team as required

Contribute to the development and implementation of bar and beverage strategies

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar bar management or food and beverage assistant role

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a high-quality dining experience

Excellent knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines and spirits

Proven skills in stock management, rostering and team leadership

Relevant qualifications in hospitality or a related field

A positive, flexible and collaborative approach to work
