The Grounds Group is looking for an Events Coordinator to help bring events to life at The Grounds of Alexandria and The Grounds of Eveleigh

What is the role?

The Grounds events team is growing as the business continues to grow and we are looking for an exceptional Wedding and Events Coordinator who can work their magic from the initial consultation with the client right up to the event date.

You will provide amazing client contact from sale confirmation through to the event date, ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction and memorable guest experiences.

What will you do?

Liaise with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements & clearly relay that information through BEO's, floor plans and storage registers for each event.

Assist clients with all styling needs and outsource styling elements that are not in-house.

Liaise with Suppliers regarding bookings & logistics of bump in/bump out.

Liaise with the Executive Chef regarding bespoke menus, dietary requirements and share any updates before the event date.

Ensure insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to for all events.

Work with your client for the entire journey ensuring the whole process is stress free and memorable, before handing over to the operations team on the day.

Who are you and what do you have?

At least two years of demonstrated experience in a similar role- - wedding focused experience is highly regarded

You are able to work autonomously and possess a sound understanding of events coordination within a busy multi-site venue.

Strong attention to detail is essential, as is a determination to seize opportunities to surpass guest expectations and enhance guest experience from the very first moment of contact.

Food and Beverage knowledge and qualifications in Event Management are a distinct advantage.

Amazing communication, both written and verbal.
