About the Role

We are looking for an Events Manager to oversee the events at 67 Pall Mall, ensuring the seamless execution of all Member and private events. This role is pivotal in planning, coordinating, and managing events to the highest standard, from wine tastings, to lavish parties and bespoke private functions. The successful candidate will also contribute to business development, helping grow the Club’s event revenue and client base through innovative ideas and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination: Respond to all private event inquiries, manage event logistics, and liaise with Members to organise bespoke events such as wine tastings, dinners, and private bookings.

Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with the Membership, Sommelier, Wine, and Marketing teams to plan and promote Member events, wine tastings, and dinners.

Budget & Revenue Management: Develop profit and loss analyses and trend reports, manage event budgets, and contribute to revenue growth through upselling and repeat bookings.

Relationship Management: Foster relationships with existing and potential members, vendors and contractors, conduct venue tours, and host meetings with prospective event bookers and other stakeholders.

Event Order Management: Prepare detailed event orders for upcoming events, coordinate with the kitchen, sommelier, and front-of-house teams, and lead weekly planning meetings.

Vendor & Partner Coordination: Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, partners and other stakeholders to secure partnerships for member events.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end events environment. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in managing high-end events, ideally in wine, hospitality or a Members' Club setting.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution.

Strong leadership qualities.

A passion for wine, with previous experience working in the wine industry or good knowledge of wines being highly desirable.

The ability to foster strong relationships with Members, clients, and vendors, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Competencies and Skills

Event Management Expertise: Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage high-quality events from concept to completion.

Team Leadership: Strong skills in leading, mentoring, and motivating team members

Collaboration: Ability to work closely with other departments, including sommelier and marketing teams, to ensure event success.

Revenue Management: Expertise in managing event budgets, analysing profitability, and contributing to the Club’s financial growth.

Client Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with members and external clients, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.
