Event Sales Coordinator – Full Time
Join the team at one of Manly’s most iconic waterfront venues!
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Event Sales Coordinator to join our passionate events team. This is an exciting full-time role (Tuesday to Saturday), reporting directly to the Events Manager and playing a key part in driving event sales, managing private bookings, and ensuring the seamless delivery of unforgettable experiences for our clients.
The Role:
Manage all incoming event and reservation enquiries via phone and email, with a commitment to responding within 24 hours.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients and suppliers.
Oversee the entire event process – from initial enquiry and planning through to execution and post-event follow-up.
Provide on-the-day support, working closely with the operations team to ensure every event runs smoothly.
Greet clients during events, check setups, and ensure all requirements are met as per run sheets and contracts.
Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication throughout the entire client journey.
Conduct venue site inspections and actively seek out new business and partnership opportunities.
Coordinate all event details and communicate effectively across all departments and stakeholders.
Handle post-event follow-ups and feedback to maintain client satisfaction.
Address and resolve guest issues promptly, using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Manage event invoicing, payment tracking, and basic financial/admin tasks.
Coordinate all reservation bookings, seating plans, and guest communications.
Assist with general office administration including event forecasts, signage creation, and run sheets.
Support casual staff, assist in food and beverage service when required, and manage AV and event equipment needs.
What We’re Looking For:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
A passion for hospitality and events, with a solid knowledge of food, beverages, and current industry trends.
Ability to think quickly on your feet and handle unexpected challenges with ease.
Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, event sales, or admin roles is highly regarded.
Administration and basic accounting skills are required.
A team player who is flexible, proactive, and able to work autonomously when required.
Availability to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster, including occasional evenings and weekends.
