About Us

The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the partner in delivering accounting and tax services. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, mentor junior staff and grow into a manager role in the short term.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, tax returns, review BAS, and IAS for various entities (companies, trusts, SMSF, partnerships, individuals).
Provide tax planning and business advisory support to clients.
Supervise and mentor junior accountants, assisting with their development.
Maintain and assist with accounting software and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with Australian tax legislation and liaise with the ATO as required.
Support the management in workflow planning and client communication.
About You
Highly motivated, organised and committed professional. Minimum 3 years’ experience in public practice accounting in Australia, with a focus on tax and business services.
CA/CPA qualified or working towards
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is highly regarded.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, XPM) and Microsoft Excel.
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently in a flexible environment.
